What are the common problems of gallbladder polyps

Many people in the clinic do health checkup or for other reasons ultrasound examination found gallbladder polyps, some people are very nervous, some people do not take it seriously. Both of these attitudes are incorrect. Patients with gallbladder polyps often ask the following questions. 1.What is gallbladder polyp? Most of them are gallbladder polyps. 2.Do gallbladder polyps grow fast? From the observation of thousands of patients I met, the majority of gallbladder polyps do not increase in size or increase very slowly. Very few increase faster. 3.Does gallbladder polyp disappear? There is almost no disappearance in the cases I met, only one case of small polyps was not seen on ultrasound. 4.Is there any medicine to keep polyps away or control their growth? As far as I know, there is still no effective drug treatment. 5.What are the risks of gallbladder polyps? Most of the gallbladder polyps have no symptoms, but very few of them can turn into gallbladder cancer, which is the most terrible thing, because the malignancy of gallbladder cancer is very high. 6.What do I need to pay attention to in my diet? There is nothing to pay attention to in the diet, just a reasonable and balanced diet. 7. How often to review gallbladder polyps? Generally, it is reviewed once every six months or once a year. If the polyp is larger or growing faster, it can be reviewed in 1~3 months. 8. Do gallbladder polyps need surgery? Most of the polyps do not need surgery. For the following cases, we need to consider surgery: gallbladder polyps with a diameter of 1cm or more; multiple polyps in the gallbladder with symptoms such as vague pain and distension in the right upper abdomen, aversion to greasy food, etc.; gallbladder polyps combined with stones; gallbladder polyps that greatly affect normal work, life and study. 9.
