Difference between bevacizumab and cetuximab

Bevacizumab and cetuximab, both are anti-tumor targeted drugs that are more widely used in bowel cancer. Bevacizumab is mainly an anti-tumor angiogenesis targeted drug, which is mainly applied to the right half colon cancer and EGFR positive bowel cancer. Cetuximab is mainly applied to left half colon cancer, and EGFR wild type colon cancer. They have different response profiles, with bevacizumab mainly causing high blood pressure and proteinuria, while cetuximab mainly causes rash and liver impairment. There are no studies to compare the side effects of bevacizumab and cetuximab. Therefore, the clinical use of these two drugs is mainly based on the condition and indications.
