What to do if you have a large area of acne

Large acne may be acne, folliculitis, etc. It can be improved by medication and physical therapy.
1. Acne: It is a chronic inflammatory disease that occurs in the sebaceous glands of hair follicles and can lead to generalized lesions on the face and chest and back, and can be treated with topical medications such as retinoic acid ointment, adapalene gel, fusidic acid cream, and peroxybenzoyl gel. It can be combined with oral medications such as isotretinoin and doxycycline. If necessary, it can be combined with physical therapy, such as red and blue light, photodynamic therapy and so on.
2. Folliculitis: associated with bacterial infection, commonly associated with Staphylococcus aureus infection, can lead to a large area of acne, generally use antibiotic creams, such as fusidic acid cream, clindamycin cream, etc., if necessary, with oral antibiotic drugs, such as amoxicillin, minocycline, etc., to reduce inflammatory reactions.
All of the above medications should be used under the guidance of a doctor, and patients should not use the medication on their own.
