Sonaxin Succinate Tablets are recommended to be taken as one tablet (5mg) per day, with a dose not to exceed 5mg for those who develop hepatic or renal dysfunction, and no more than 5mg concomitantly with potent cytochrome P450 3A4 inhibitors (e.g., ketoconazole, clarithromycin, itraconazole, ritonavir, etc.). Sonaxin Succinate Tablets are used for the treatment of patients with overactive bladder content disorder with symptoms of urinary incontinence or urinary frequency and urgency; the current recommended dose is one tablet (5mg) once daily, which may be increased to two tablets (10mg) once daily with or without meals, if necessary. Sonaxin Succinate Tablets are associated with the adverse effect of dry mouth. In patients with mild or moderate renal dysfunction, the dosage of the drug may not be adjusted; in patients with severe renal dysfunction, the drug should be used with caution, and the dosage should not exceed 5 mg per day.In patients with mild hepatic dysfunction, the dosage of the drug may not be adjusted, and in patients with moderate hepatic dysfunction, the dosage of the drug should not exceed 5 mg per day; when co-administered with potent cytochrome P450 3A4 inhibitors, the dosage of the drug should not exceed 5 mg.
