What are the signs of lung cancer spread?

  1. Chest pain Diffusion of chest wall There are many patients with lung cancer that will spread to our chest wall when the lung cancer spreads, which may cause patients to experience chest pain. About 30% of tumors directly invade the pleura, ribs and chest wall, which can cause degree of chest pain. When the poking tumor is located near the pleura, it produces irregular dull pain or vague pain, and the pain is aggravated by breathing and coughing. When the ribs and spine are invaded, there is pressure pain but not related to breathing and coughing. If the tumor compresses the intercostal nerve, the chest pain may involve its distribution area. 2.Respiratory difficulty Diffusion of trachea and also the organs that some patients will diffuse, which will affect the patient’s breathing and the occurrence of symptoms such as respiratory difficulty and decrease in lung capacity. Tumor compressing the large airway can lead to inspiratory dyspnea. In addition, in elderly patients with lung cancer, the function of respiratory muscle groups declines, alveolar ducts, alveolar sacs and alveoli enlarge, thus causing the patient’s lung volume to decrease, while the residual air volume and functional residual air volume increase accordingly. Compression symptom of cancer directly presses or metastasizes to the enlarged mediastinal lymph glands and then presses the laryngeal recurrent nerve (mostly seen on the left side), hoarseness may occur. I hope all lung cancer patients can understand the above contents seriously, and when lung cancer is diagnosed, we should not give up easily so as not to bring us more harm after the disease is serious.
