Adrenal Adenoma

Adrenal adenoma is generally a benign tumor that occurs in the adrenal cortex and is usually associated with urology. The cause of this disease is not completely clear, may be related to genetic factors, growth and development abnormalities, endocrine abnormalities, environmental factors and so on. Adrenal adenoma, mostly benign tumors of the adrenal cortex, is a urological disease, so it is recommended to consult the Department of Urology. Adrenal adenomas are functional or non-functional, and the functional ones include cortisol tumors, aldosterone tumors, and adenomas that occasionally secrete sex hormones, and may have symptoms such as cardiac obesity and purplish lines on the skin. Non-functional adenomas occur at a high rate, the gland no longer has a secretory function, and are generally asymptomatic. In the presence of adrenal adenomas, it is recommended to seek medical attention from the Department of Urology in a timely manner, to follow the doctor’s instructions for further examination, to clarify the type of tumor with the help of the doctor, and to carry out treatment.
