How long does it take for a minor crack to heal with rest?

Minor cleavage generally refers to cleavage fracture in orthopedics, which also belongs to a type of fracture, except that there is no obvious dislocation, so its prognosis is better, however, its healing time is the same as the general fracture, which needs 3 months to reach the standard of clinical healing. Therefore, for minor cleft fracture, the resting time should be at least 3 months, during which the affected limb should be immobilized with plaster or brace for 4-6 weeks, and after the original bone scab is formed locally, the plaster or brace can be removed and the affected limb can be functionally exercised. After 3 months, the radiographs of the cleft area should be reviewed again, and if it is proved to have reached the standard of clinical healing, then the patient can go down to the ground. If clinical healing has been achieved, normal activities can be performed.
