Bisoprolol fumarate is used in the treatment of patients with chronic stable heart failure, initially from a quarter of a dose once daily, and then increase the dose as tolerated.
Bisoprolol fumarate tablets are used for the treatment of hypertension, coronary artery disease, and moderate to severe chronic stable heart failure with ventricular hypoconstriction.
The drug should be taken in the morning and can be taken with meals, usually once daily 5mg each time, mild hypertension can be treated from 2.5mg, patients with chronic stable heart failure just start a quarter of the dose each time to begin with, and then slowly increase the dose if tolerated.
Adverse reactions occasionally dizziness, headache, itching, nausea and vomiting, common bradycardia, heart failure, coldness or numbness of the extremities hypotension, rare depression, hallucinations.
Cardiogenic shock, second or third-degree atrioventricular block without pacemaker is prohibited, acute heart failure or in the decompensated stage of heart failure need to be treated with static positive inotropic drugs is prohibited, sinus node syndrome, sinus blockers, symptomatic hypotension, untreated pheochromocytoma patients, patients with metabolic acidosis is prohibited.
It is contraindicated in patients who are allergic to the product, in patients with severe bronchial asthma or severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, in patients with severe peripheral arterial occlusive disease and Raynaud’s syndrome.
