For our people, the main source of infection that causes the organism to be endangered by rabies is the dog, and being bitten, scratched or licked by a dog that carries the rabies virus is the main cause of the occurrence of rabies. The probability of domesticated dogs carrying the rabies virus is not high. Dogs kept by organizations and individuals need to be regularly immunized against rabies in accordance with the regulations. Therefore, with regular immunization against rabies, domesticated dogs generally do not carry the rabies virus. In order to effectively prevent the emergence of rabies, it is recommended that individuals should standardize dog breeding, enhance the awareness of the rule of law in dog breeding, while the relevant parts of the management of stray dogs. Individuals who are bitten by dogs suspected of having the disease should promptly flush the wound and disinfect it, and receive rabies vaccination in a timely manner.
