Once diagnosed with middle cerebral artery stenosis, it should be actively treated in a regular hospital. The main treatment modalities are as follows: 1) conservative medical treatment: oral anti-platelet coagulation drugs and plaque stabilizing and lipid-lowering drugs; 2) surgical treatment: for patients who still have ischemic events through conservative medical treatment, stenting is recommended to improve ischemic symptoms. Stent implantation is a relatively mature and minimally invasive surgical procedure, which is safer and more effective.
