How to read the TCT report

The TCT report is mainly to know whether the cervical epithelium has lesions or not, and the results of the report usually have the following kinds of results: the first one is that there is no intraepithelial lesion, which means that the cervical epithelium is normal, and it can be examined regularly in the clinic, usually once a year. The second is the presence of atypical squamous epithelial cells, in which case the patient may have a history of IUD or chronic cervical inflammation. It is recommended that after removing the IUD and treating the inflammation, the patient should be rechecked accordingly. The third is low-grade cervical epithelial lesions, which indicates that the cervix has developed precancerous lesions, and clinical treatment is recommended. The fourth is a high-grade cervical epithelial lesion, for which conical excision of the cervix is recommended. The fifth is cervical cancer. These are the TCT reports, and different treatments should be given according to the different results.
