What to do about bleeding after a tct

It is normal for patients to have a small amount of bleeding after the TCT examination. This kind of bleeding is very small and usually clears up in 1-2 days and does not require any treatment. It is mainly because the sampling brush of cervical TCT is relatively hard, and it will cause some damage to the patient’s cervix when sweeping the cells of cervical squamous-columnar junction, so most of the patients have a small amount of bleeding during the examination. If the bleeding is heavy or prolonged after the TCT examination, it is an abnormal situation, and it is considered that there may be inflammation of the cervix, cervical intraepithelial neoplasia, and the possibility of cervical cancer. The patient first needs to use caffeic acid, Yunnan Baiyao and other drugs to stop bleeding, if the effect is not good, can use gauze to fill the treatment. After stopping the bleeding, the TCT results should be observed and further examination and treatment should be carried out according to the results.
