Hiccups are referred to as “hiccups” in Chinese medicine, and the usual dosage of Citrus aurantium and Citrus aurantium for the treatment of hiccups is about 10g.
This disease is mostly due to the upward reversal of stomach qi (stomach qi rises instead of falling) and the emergence of short, frequent sounds, which can usually recover on its own without treatment, but some patients may develop persistent hiccups and should be treated with medication.
Citrus aurantium, bitter, pungent and sour in taste, warm in nature, belonging to the spleen, stomach and large intestine meridians, can break down qi and eliminate stagnation (break down qi stagnation and eliminate food accumulation), dissolve phlegm and remove lumps. It is mainly used in treating gastrointestinal stagnation, damp-heat diarrhea (diarrhea caused by feeling damp-heat evil), chest paralysis (stuffy pain in the chest), stagnation of qi in the chest and chest coils (pain in the chest and ribs), and post-partum abdominal pain.
Qingpi, bitter, pungent and warm in nature, belonging to the liver, gallbladder and stomach meridians, can dredge the liver and break down qi, eliminate accumulation and resolve stagnation. It is mainly used in treating liver depression and stagnation of qi, qi stagnation and pain in the epigastrium (pain in the epigastrium and abdomen), abdominal pain due to food accumulation (abdominal pain due to indigestion of food and stagnation in the stomach), and obstruction in the abdomen (the appearance of tangible or invisible lumps in the abdomen, with a feeling of distension and pain), etc. It is also used in treating the pain in the abdomen after childbirth.
If the patient is not feeling well, he/she should go to the regular hospital in time to get medical treatment, to clarify the cause of the disease, to take medication under the guidance of the doctor, and to avoid choosing the medication or other products on their own, so as to avoid delaying the condition or causing other adverse consequences.
