Late pregnancy discharge yellowish and painless may or may not be normal. Fetal prenatal descent in late pregnancy, compression of the cervix, the cervix gradually shorten, the cervical opening soft, slight dilatation, the cervical mucus plugs out of the cervical opening, the formation of mucous transparent or yellowish secretion, this is a normal physiological phenomenon, without special treatment of drugs. In late pregnancy, anaerobic bacteria, mycoplasma, chlamydia and other pathogens infections, resulting in vaginitis, cervicitis, etc., the vagina and cervical mucosa appear inflammatory reaction, resulting in yellow or grayish-yellow purulent secretion, which may not be accompanied by vulvar and vaginal itching or pain. When the fetal membranes rupture in late pregnancy and the rupture is high, a small amount of amniotic fluid flows out and produces a yellowish discharge, which is not accompanied by pain or itching; these are pathologic conditions and are not normal. Patients with yellowish discharge in late pregnancy are advised to consult a doctor to find out the cause of the discharge and to give reasonable treatment when abnormalities occur.
