Treatment of breast cancer

The treatment methods of breast cancer mainly include surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, endocrine therapy and targeted therapy. 1. Surgery: this is the preferred treatment method for early and middle stage breast cancer patients, and common surgical methods include modified radical mastectomy for breast cancer and breast-conserving surgery for breast cancer. 2. Chemotherapy: chemotherapy is divided into neoadjuvant chemotherapy and adjuvant chemotherapy. Generally, drugs with special effects on breast cancer are used to kill cancer cells in the body through oral or intravenous injection, such as albumin paclitaxel, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin. 3. Radiotherapy: This is also a common treatment method, which is a localized treatment through radiation, thus affecting the reproduction and growth of cancer cells, and ultimately controlling the cancer cells, but the radiation will also kill normal cells. It is commonly used in breast-conserving surgery and patients with more local lymph node metastasis. 4. Endocrine therapy: for hormone receptor-positive breast cancer patients, 5-10 years of endocrine therapy is needed, and the main drugs include triamcinolone acetonide, tamoxifen, toremifene and so on. 5. Targeted therapy: For HER-2 positive breast cancer patients, targeted therapy is needed. Targeted therapy refers to the targeted treatment, first find the difference between cancer cells and normal cells, and take it as the target of treatment, which can use trastuzumab, patuximab and other drugs. When patients develop breast cancer, they should actively cooperate with doctors for treatment.
