Cushing syndrome is a condition in which the body produces too much adrenal hormone for some reason, resulting in a thickening of cortisol, also known clinically as Koch’s syndrome or Cushing’s syndrome. Cushing’s syndrome can cause hypertension, endocrine disorders, menstrual disorders, and can even develop into diabetes. Severe cases can cause osteoporosis leading to fractures. According to the clinical investigation, long-term use of large amounts of glucocorticoids can cause cushing syndrome, and excessive ACTH secretion by the pituitary gland and adrenal cortical tumors can cause clinical symptoms of cushing syndrome.
