With the rapid development of imaging techniques such as CT, more and more small nodules in the lungs are being detected. How to identify the nature of these small nodules is a major problem we face. Many patients are unable to determine the nature of the small nodules, which makes observation or diagnosis very difficult. Patients with these problems can come to my clinic for discussion and diagnosis. Clinic hours are listed on the home page of our website. In 2011, the results of the American Lung Cancer Screening Clinical Study were published, and the use of CT for early lung cancer screening can reduce the disease and death rate by 20%. Therefore, low-dose CT chest screening is recommended every 1-2 years for those who are at high risk, such as those who have smoked for more than 20 pack years and are older than 40 years of age or have chronic respiratory disease. In the six months since the opening of the small lung nodule clinic, more than 300 patients have been seen, and the majority have received a definitive diagnosis or follow-up recommendations. Nearly 150 people have been excluded from the risk of developing tumors in their lung nodules. The clinic has been well received by patients and their families.
