Qianliguang can be used to treat carbuncle, swelling and sores, damp-heat diarrhea (diarrhea caused by feeling damp-heat evil), eczema and wet sores, etc. Patients using Qianliguang should be guided by the discernment of a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner.
Qianliguang is a traditional Chinese medicine with a bitter taste and cold nature, and is attributed to the lungs and liver. It has the efficacy of clearing heat and removing toxins (removing heat and toxicity from the body), brightening the eyes, and inducing dampness. It can be used to treat carbuncle, swollen sores, damp-heat diarrhea and dysentery, redness and pain of the eyes, water and fire scalded, and venomous snake bites, and other conditions.
It can be used in combination with Xia Gu Cao and Cassia Zi to treat redness and swelling of the eyes caused by wind-heat or inflammation of the liver. For the treatment of damp-heat in the large intestine (the large intestine feels damp-heat evil), abdominal pain and diarrhea, or urgency and heaviness (discomfort in the lower abdomen, wanting to defecate very much, with a feeling of incomplete defecation after defecation), dysentery and pus and blood (diarrhea, with pus and blood in the feces), etc., it can be used singly, or used in combination with Andrographis paniculata.
It should be noted that, due to the cold nature of Qianliguang, people with middle cold and diarrhea should avoid taking it to avoid aggravating the symptoms of the disease.
When discomfort occurs, you should consult a doctor and choose medication under the doctor’s guidance, not self-medication.
