  Lifestyle changes are a very important treatment for patients with GERD. This includes the following points: 1. Eat fewer and more frequent meals and avoid being too full. Stand and walk appropriately after meals, avoid lying flat, or doing bending movements. The waist belt should not be too tight.  2, do not eat before bedtime.  3.Avoid drinking gas or acidic beverages and irritating foods, such as tobacco, alcohol, strong tea, coffee, chili, soft drinks, etc.  4, less dessert and low-fat diet can reduce abdominal distension.  5, obese patients can be appropriate weight loss to reduce abdominal pressure.  6, sleep with the head of the bed elevated 15-20cm or padded shoulders.  7, relaxed mood, do not have a psychological burden.
