Ovarian cancer is one of the common malignant tumors in women. Since the ovary is located deep in the pelvis, early lesions are not easy to detect and most of them are already in advanced stage when diagnosed clinically. With the development of modern medicine, middle and early stage cases can be cured, but in advanced stage ovarian cancer, because the tumor has metastasized extensively, despite surgery and chemotherapy, satisfactory results are still not achieved. In a case of stage IV ovarian cancer with postoperative pelvic residual lesions greater than 10 cm, deep heat therapy and chemotherapy were given, which achieved a recent complete remission. Tumor cells are sensitive to heat, and tumor tissues heat up quickly and dissipate slowly, thus generating high heat. Deep heat therapy can cause tumor tissues to degenerate and necrosis until they disintegrate and fall off, which can achieve the purpose of treating tumors. Meanwhile, heating can also enhance the effect of many anti-cancer drugs, such as PDD and ADM. Therefore, deep heat therapy together with chemotherapy can cure advanced ovarian adenocarcinoma in the near future. Since some patients are mostly from rural areas, disease treatment is constrained by family economic conditions, and some patients cannot afford to continue treatment after relapse. If a patient fails to return to the hospital on time to continue treatment after achieving satisfactory recent results, resulting in recurrence of the disease, but the ascites can still be controlled by microwave thermotherapy and chemotherapy again, repeated use of deep thermotherapy with chemotherapy is still effective. Deep heat therapy with chemotherapy achieved significant recent results in the treatment of advanced ovarian adenocarcinoma, but there was still no improvement in 5-year tumor-free survival. The fact that the tumor was able to go into complete remission, albeit temporarily, was sufficient to significantly improve the patient’s psychological status and quality of life, which has given most patients hope.
