Case 1: Shuai Moumou, female, 62 years old, patient with advanced ovarian cancer, presented on September 19, 2014 Complaint: small abdominal mass for 2 years, acute wasting, abdominal distension and constipation, urinary retention for 3 months. History: The patient was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in October 2012, and her condition was stable for about 1.5 years after 6 courses of chemotherapy after surgery. in June 2014, she visited the clinic due to abdominal distension and abdominal pain and significant weight loss, and was found to have recurrence of ovarian cancer. she was hospitalized with domestic and imported western drugs for chemotherapy, but her condition could not be relieved and was gradually worsening. she developed abdominal distension and constipation, nausea and constipation, urinary retention, was catheterized, and could only take a small amount of fluid every day. He had cold extremities, insomnia, weakness of both lower limbs and edema of both lower legs. The patient requested to go home to recuperate and gave up treatment. Physical examination: extremely thin, weak, yellowish, low voice, subcutaneous lump about 1 cm high and 10 cm long and 6 cm wide on the right side of the abdomen, obvious tenderness, cold extremities, tibial edema, dull tongue with teeth marks, grayish white and slippery moss, angry and black sublingual meridians, sunken and smooth pulse. Ultrasound findings of ovarian cancer metastasis and abnormal blood biochemical findings. Diagnosis: TCM: obstruction in the abdomen (stasis of blood, phlegm and toxicity in the abdomen) Western medicine: advanced ovarian cancer Acupuncture treatment: strengthen the spleen, benefit the kidney, warm the yang, promote water, support the righteousness and dispel evil Baihui, Zhonggui, Hypogastrium, Shangqu, Tianshu, Qihai, Qi Pun, Guangyuan, Qi points, Neiguan, Hegu, Feet Sanli, Yinlingquan, Fenglong, Sanyinjiao, Taixi, Taichong, Lung Yu, Diaphragm Yu, Liver Yu, Spleen Yu, Kidney Yu, Guangyuan Yu Heavy moxibustion for Baihui and Feet Sanli, Shenqu, Diaphragm Yu as the center of the divine light irradiation, 4 times a week, leaving the needle (moxibustion, divine light) for 1 hour, a total of 12 times treatment. Effect: After 3 treatments, the hands and feet were warm, the diet was normal, rice, apples, vegetables, small amount of fish, meat and eggs could be eaten, stool was twice a day, after 6 treatments, the catheter was removed, urination was clear, foot swelling was significantly reduced, sleep was improved, and the abdominal mass seemed to have shrunk, but it was not precisely measured. The patient was advised to continue treatment 3 times a week and has now been treated 15 times. The patient is suffering from a severe case of positive deficiency and evil, with yin and yang wanting to be extinguished. The five viscera, especially the spleen and kidney, are weak, and cannot receive the water and grain, nor can they excrete the phlegm and stagnation in the stool, so there is no way for the qi and blood to transform.
