Heart discomfort when walking

If the patient has heart discomfort while walking, this situation may be due to the symptoms of insufficient blood supply to the heart muscle and angina induced by the activity. It is recommended that the patient should stop in time, find a place to sit down, and take heart pills or compound salvia drops under the tongue. Further clarify whether there is a possibility of acute coronary syndrome. If acute coronary syndrome is considered, coronary angiography should be done. Patients are advised to take oral medications for secondary prevention, such as metoprolol, isosorbide mononitrate, aspirin, atorvastatin, etc., to prevent exacerbation of the disease. Patients are also advised to have an ultrasound of the heart, as some patients may also have heart discomfort due to hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy, or aortic stenosis.
