Wind Gate and Lung Yu points both belong to the Foot-Sun Bladder meridian and differ in location and main treatment.
1. Wind Gate point belongs to the Foot Solar Bladder meridian and is located at the back, 1.5 inches below the spinous process of the second thoracic vertebra. It can treat cough, night sweating (abnormal sweating after going to sleep and stopping after waking up), itching, hemoptysis, bone vaporization and tidal fever (a burst of heat, feeling that the heat is coming from inside the bone to the outside), asthma, and cryptorchid rash.
2. Lung Yu point belongs to the foot solar bladder meridian. It is located at the back, 1.5 inches below the spinous process of the third thoracic vertebra. It is mainly used to treat symptoms such as cough, asthma, hot flashes, night sweats, itching, and hid rash.
