For superficial varicose veins in the lower extremities, one of the newest minimally invasive surgical methods is endovenous laser treatment. It can be performed under local anesthesia or epidural anesthesia, leaving no surgical scars, less patient pain, and quick recovery time, with patients able to get out of bed the day after surgery. The intracavitary laser is delivered to the tissue through fiber optics, and the output power and emission pattern of the laser are adjusted to occlude the varicose blood vessels, thus achieving the treatment effect. Brief hospitalization: After admission, routine preoperative examinations were performed, and the total operation time was about 30 min. On the first day after surgery, the patient was encouraged to get out of bed, and was discharged from the hospital after 1-2 days of antibiotic infusion. It has a great prospect of application.
