Liver elasticity 7.1 is cirrhosis

Liver elasticity of 7.1kPa cirrhosis is less likely and needs to be combined with ultrasound and liver function for further judgment. Liver bomb is an instantaneous elastography of the liver, which is a non-invasive test. Liver bomb test through the liver emits low-frequency ultrasound vibration wave to check the elasticity of the liver, the normal value of the liver bomb is between 2.4~7.0kPa; if it is between 7.0~9.0kPa, there is a higher probability of liver fibrosis; between 9.5~12.5kPa, it means there is a more serious liver fibrosis, and if it is more than 12.5kPa, then cirrhosis can be basically diagnosed. Therefore, liver bomb 7.1kPa is a mild increase, does not meet the diagnostic criteria of cirrhosis, but the liver bomb test can not be used alone for the diagnosis of cirrhosis, but also need to refer to the patient’s symptoms, ultrasound results and other tests such as liver function tests to further determine. It is recommended to consult a doctor for standardized diagnosis and treatment when necessary.
