Does it leave scars after strabismus surgery?

Will strabismus surgery cause vision loss? Strabismus surgery does not open the eye, it is an adjustment of the attachment points of the extraocular muscles on the surface of the eye, so it neither improves nor decreases vision. Is strabismus surgery minimally invasive? How big is the incision? Currently, most hospitals perform minimally invasive strabismus surgery. The surgical incision is small, also called a Parks incision, and is only 5-6 mm. Will there be scars after strabismus surgery? Strabismus surgery is performed by making an incision on the conjunctiva, which will leave a small, faint scar that is not visible. In particular, the Parks incision is currently made, and the normal eyelid is able to shield it from view.
