Why do cervical polyps bleed?

In the case of cervical polyps, there may be irritating bleeding due to the presence of a bulge at the opening of the cervix when the bulge is affected by activity. For example, when there is intercourse, there is contact bleeding due to genital friction, and when there is inflammation of the vagina, there is unexplained abnormal bleeding due to the inflammation. When cervical polyps appear, as far as possible, they need to be actively surgically treated to avoid prolonged cervical bleeding that can cause infection and even anemia, and over time, can cause the bulge at the cervical opening to reach the vagina, and may even spread to the endometrium, causing the endometrium to produce endometrial polyps as well. Depending on your situation, you can choose between simple removal of cervical polyps or hysteroscopic removal of cervical polyps.
