How long to rest after cervical polyp surgery

After cervical polyp removal surgery, 1-3 days of rest is usually recommended. If the cervical polyp is superficially located, the tip is thin and narrow, the size of a grain of rice or tongue or bean, you can directly perform cervical polyp removal surgery in the outpatient clinic, if necessary, local anesthesia, no need to be hospitalized, and rest for 1 day on the day after surgery; if the cervical polyp is deeply located, the tip is wide and lamellar or mound-shaped, you need to be hospitalized after intravenous anesthesia, and then perform cervical polyp removal surgery after hysteroscopic examination to clarify the location of the tip, after surgery A rest period of 2-3 days is recommended. Some patients have a small amount of vaginal bleeding after surgery, and some patients do not have any symptoms, so they do not need special rest. They should mainly avoid sexual life for 1 month and wait for the endometrial pathology report to clarify whether it is a polyp or other lesions before further treatment.
