What are the symptoms of tiny nodules in the lungs?

Tiny nodules in the lungs are usually asymptomatic.
A pulmonary nodule is defined as a roundish, dense shadow with a diameter of <30mm. According to the definition of diameter size, pulmonary micronodule refers to a nodule with a diameter of <5mm. Generally, pulmonary micronodules do not cause occupying effects and are far away from the bronchial tubes, so they do not cause common respiratory symptoms such as coughing and sputum.
Most of the tiny lung nodules are caused by lung infections, but the possibility of malignant development of the nodules in the later stage cannot be ruled out, because many early lung cancers are simply manifested as lung nodules without any symptoms.
When nodules are found in the lungs, patients are advised to consult the Department of Thoracic Surgery or Department of Respiratory Medicine of the hospital, have their conditions evaluated by specialized doctors, and follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment or regular follow-up.
