What to do if you have acne pimples on your face and how to get rid of them

Treatment for acne pimples on the face, known as acne, includes topical medication, systemic medication or physical therapy.
Acne is a multifactorial disease that can be associated with androgen-induced sebum secretion, Propionibacterium acnes reproduction, or keratinization of follicular sebaceous gland ducts.
1. Topical medication: The first line of acne treatment is retinoic acid. Adapalene is the first choice for mild to moderate acne and inflammatory acne; anti-microbial treatment, such as topical erythromycin ointment, can also be used in combination with retinoic acid.
2. Systemic medication: oral antibiotics such as minocycline is the treatment of choice for moderate to severe cases and when topical medication fails.
3. Physical therapy: Red light, blue light mixed light irradiation therapy can be used to treat acne, and play an anti-inflammatory, antibacterial effect; laser also has a certain degree of efficacy.
When acne appears on the face, it is recommended to consult a doctor in time and follow the doctor’s instructions.
