What is the cause of high squamous epithelial cells in urine test

The high squamous epithelial count found in routine urine tests is mainly due to the patient’s failure to pay attention to the normal operation when taking urine. If there is a significant increase in the urine, it is mainly because the specimen was collected during the initial discharge of the urine, so the urine has a high squamous epithelial cell count, which usually needs to be retrieved. The patient also needs to clarify whether there are any symptoms of discomfort, or in some cases, abnormalities due to tumor shedding cells. Cytologic analysis should be performed to determine if there are heterogeneous cells, and if the cells are of common skin origin, the urine should be retrieved. If the urine is not clean, the urine will be cleaned and the urine will not be distorted due to elevated squamous epithelial cells.
