What are the uses of nucleic acid test paper

Nucleic acid test strips usually refer to tests for novel coronavirus antigens, which are used by nasal swabbing. ⒈ check reagents: first wash your hands, wash your hands and then open the kit to check the condition of the self-test reagents, including sampling tubes, test cards and so on. Peck to confirm the testing environment: generally require 14 ~ 30 ℃ room temperature environment for testing, before sampling with toilet paper to wipe the nose, and then take out the nasal swab, pay attention to the hands do not touch the head of the swab. Sample collection: Hold the swab with one hand, put it into one side of the nostril for 1~1.5cm, rotate it close to the nasal cavity for 1~5 turns, and stay for not less than 15 seconds. Subsequently use the same swab to repeat the above operation on the other side of the nasal cavity. Singed antigen test: Put the nasal swab after sample collection in the sampling tube, the swab head should be rotated in the preservation liquid for at least 30 seconds, and at the same time, squeeze the swab head at least 5 times with your hand through the outer wall of the sampling tube and squeeze the liquid from the swab head to dry it up, throw the swab away, and then drop the liquid into the sample hole of the test card after the cap of the sampling tube is put on it, and then leave it to stand for 15 minutes for the result to be read out. 5. Interpretation of results: Positive results are red or purple bands at C and T, and the band at T can be dark or light. A negative result is a red or purple band at C and no band at T. If the red or purple band is not present at C, the result will be interpreted. If there is no red or purple band at C, regardless of whether there is a band at T or not, the result is invalid and the sample needs to be re-sampled for testing. If the result is negative, dispose of all nasal swabs, test cards, sampling tubes, etc. in a sealed bag as general trash. If the result is positive, it should be handed over to the medical institution for disposal as medical waste.
