How often does acute leukemia M4 come back?

There are no accurate data on the time to relapse in patients with acute leukemia M4.
Acute leukemia is a clonal disease that is a malignant disease of the hematopoietic system. Acute leukemia is divided into acute myeloid leukemia and acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Acute leukemia M4, or acute granulomonocytic leukemia, is also a type of acute myeloid leukemia.
The cure rate of acute leukemia M4 is very low. If a patient achieves clinical cure through bone marrow transplantation or therapies such as radiotherapy, whether he or she relapses in the later stage of the disease is related to a lot of factors, such as the patient’s physical fitness, rejection reaction after transplantation, infections, and use of medication, and so on. Therefore, as to how often acute leukemia M4 will relapse, it varies from person to person and from disease to disease.
For the same disease, due to different physical conditions of patients, different stages of disease development, different treatment methods and other factors, its late recurrence time will be different. Standardized treatment should be carried out under the guidance of doctors.
