Causes of frequent baldness

In clinical practice, the causes of baldness are not well understood. However, it is believed that the causes of baldness are related to autoimmunity, genetics, and environmental factors. If baldness occurs frequently, it is best to check whether the patient has autoimmune related diseases, such as Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, diabetes mellitus, and vitiligo. However, there are also patients with baldness who have a clear family history if the medical history is carefully followed. And there are patients with baldness who have recurrent baldness that is due to a relatively high level of mental stress. Such patients may not only suffer from anxiety but also have sleep disorders.
