Hematoma after radiofrequency ablation can be treated with external ice packs, compression hemostasis, incision decompression, and local vascular embolization if necessary. Radiofrequency ablation is commonly used in patients with cardiac diseases, especially severe arrhythmia, and hematoma is one of the complications of radiofrequency ablation. After radiofrequency ablation, acute hematoma can be applied with ice pack within 24 hours to observe the hematoma, if it can subside, then insist on applying ice pack, and if it cannot subside, then take further compression to stop bleeding. If a large hematoma appears rapidly after radiofrequency ablation, incision and decompression or local vascular embolization with an interventionalist can be chosen to eliminate the hematoma. It should be noted that if the above symptoms occur, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time for early treatment to avoid delays.
