What are the clinical manifestations of urethral stricture?

  Urethral stricture is a common disease of the urinary system, commonly associated with congenital urethral stricture such as seminal hypertrophy, urethral valves, congenital external urethral stenosis, congenital narrowing of the urethral canal lumen, etc. Inflammatory urethral stricture, often due to urethral canal infection, injury, traumatic urethral stricture is mostly due to improper treatment at the initial stage of injury. The following are the clinical manifestations of urethral stricture.  1. difficulty in urination, progressive dyspareunia, thinning of urine flow, sometimes interruption of urination, drenching of urine, or even inability to urinate; 2. urinary incontinence; 3. urinary retention; 4. sexual function status: whether the penis can be erected; 5. anal defecation status, with or without abnormal parts of urination and defecation; 6. long-term urinary difficulty causing pathological changes in the upper urinary tract, hydronephrosis, renal atrophy, renal insufficiency.
