What causes soreness from the thighs to the calves

From the thighs all the way to the calves are sore, this condition should be a symptom of the sciatic nerve, which is usually caused by lumbar spine diseases or pear-shaped muscle syndrome. Among the lumbar spine diseases are lumbar disc herniation, spinal stenosis or lumbar spondylolisthesis, all of which may compress the nerve roots, thus leading to nerve pulling pain, numbness and weakness in the lower limbs. In the case of unilateral lower extremity soreness, a lumbar disc herniation is common, and in the case of lumbar spinal stenosis or lumbar spondylolisthesis, the common presentation is bilateral lower extremity nerve pulling soreness and weakness. The pear-shaped muscle syndrome is usually a symptom of inflammation and edema of the pear-shaped muscle of the hip, which compresses the sciatic nerve passing through the pear-shaped muscle and presents with sciatic nerve pain. To diagnose, a CT or MRI of the lumbar spine can be done, which basically confirms the diagnosis.
