Skin lacerations need to be examined in a hospital to check for the presence of foreign bodies in the wound and then thoroughly debrided. Depending on the local level of medical care, the choice is either debridement and gluing or debridement and suturing. If the mouth is not very deep and the incision is flush, it can be glued with medical adhesive, so that the child does not need to go under anesthesia for suturing, which is easier to accept. If medical adhesive is not available, the only option is to perform a clean suture under local anesthesia, which may require suture removal at a later stage. After treatment of the wound, may need to be injected with tetanus to prevent infection or oral anti-inflammatory drugs to prevent infection of the incision, about 3 days to change the medicine, about 7-9 days, the wound is completely long after the stitches can be removed.
