Gabapentin Capsules are mainly indicated for the treatment of postherpetic infection neuralgia and epilepsy in adults and may cause side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, diarrhea, and visual disturbances. Gabapentin Capsules for epilepsy: it is indicated for the adjunctive treatment of partial seizures with or without secondary generalized seizures in adults and children over 12 years of age; it is also used as an adjunctive treatment for partial seizures in children between 3 and 12 years of age. If the drug is used for the treatment of postherpetic infection neuralgia, there may be adverse reactions such as vertigo, drowsiness, peripheral edema; there may also be systemic symptoms such as debilitation, infection, and headache; and in a few cases, there may be gastrointestinal symptoms such as diarrhea, constipation, and gastrointestinal flatulence.
