How is hemorrhagic cerebrovascular disease treated?

Recently, a patient with ischemic cerebrovascular disease who had severe bilateral cerebrovascular occlusion was successfully solved the problem of long-term cerebrovascular occlusion by a cerebrovascular specialist from Beijing Sanbo Brain Hospital, using his world’s first radial artery graft internal maxillary artery to middle cerebral artery bypass surgery. It is reported that in fact, Ms. Li is 65 years old and has a 30-year history of hypertension. In the past 5 months, she underwent an MRI examination due to impaired right hand movement, slow behavioral response and poor speech, and was found to have severe bilateral cerebrovascular occlusion. Professor Shi instructed that the treatment of the occluded cerebral vessels focused on restoring or improving blood perfusion in the ischemic area, and that the conservative treatment with drugs and interventional stenting commonly used in clinical practice would not help her return to a normal life, and that a radial artery graft from the internal maxillary artery to the middle cerebral artery bypass was needed to solve this problem. After 13 hours, Professor Shi led the team to successfully complete the vascular bypass surgery for the mother. The post-operative cerebrovascular examination confirmed that her occluded cerebral vessels were perfused and cerebral blood flow was significantly improved. A week later, Ms. Li said happily that she had regained the strength of speech she had six months ago and could lift her right arm, which she had been unable to lift. It is understood that the “bypass surgery between the internal maxillary artery and the middle cerebral artery” carried out for the first time at home and abroad has not only created a new method of treating ischemic cerebrovascular disease, but also brought good news to patients with huge or complex intracranial aneurysms and huge cerebral arteriovenous malformations. Nowadays, more than 40 cases of cerebrovascular disease patients have enjoyed this new technology.
