Ground fluorosis, also known as fluorosis, is caused by fluoride, the main source of which is fluoride in drinking water and the environment, especially water, air, and highly fluoridated food in a contaminated environment. Fluoride accumulates in the body when the daily intake of a single serving exceeds 4-5 mg. The main site of accumulation is in the teeth and bones, so the main damage is also in the teeth and bones. Fluorosis can be caused when the body receives more fluoride from the external environment than it normally needs. The pathological changes of fluorosis are mainly osteosclerosis, osteoporosis and bone softening. Long-term excessive fluorine intake can increase bone formation and form irregular bone arrangement.
