What should I do if my nails grow in the flesh?

I always thought that nail infection was too minor and the surgery was not complicated, so I didn’t feel the need to write a popular article about it. However, over the past few years, there have been a lot of people who have come to the clinic or friends of acquaintances for advice on how to treat nail infections. Today, I took the time to write about it on a Sunday evening so that some young people who are suffering from it can take fewer detours in treatment. Nail fungus is common in the big [toe, where the edges of the toenails on both sides are embedded in the flesh, causing inflammation, redness, swelling, pain and oozing, and causing great trouble in daily life. In general, nail infections are more common in young people because of their love of movement, sweaty feet, tight shoes, trauma, or improperly trimmed toenails. For young people with the first attack, conservative treatment can be used, i.e. partial removal of the toenail or blocking the stimulation of the toenail to the nail groove tissue, which can often be cured without occurrence. However, for patients with repeated attacks, conservative treatment is not applicable, especially if there are repeated attacks and obvious inflammation, it is necessary to take radical surgery. The first stage is an anti-inflammatory procedure that controls the inflammation by reducing the irritation of the toenail in the nail groove, a process that takes three to four weeks. The second stage is surgery, which is aimed at eliminating the cause of the nail infection, i.e. eliminating the deformed part of the toenail, and healing it. It is worth mentioning that in some older people, the nail infection is caused by what is called a chelated toenail, which is not necessarily sweaty, and the principles of treatment are the same. In addition, antibiotic treatment is generally ineffective, so oral or intravenous administration of antibiotics is not recommended. For teenagers suffering from this disease, it is recommended to wear more soft, breathable shoes, which may have unexpected effects as they get older.
