Ovarian cancer is a malignant tumor that occurs in the ovarian area and has some correlation with the fallopian tubes. There are usually no characteristic symptoms in the early stage, so there are no so-called precursors, but there will be some atypical manifestations. With the development of ovarian cancer, as well as the growth and spread of the cancer, patients may also have a series of symptoms. Precursors: The early symptoms of ovarian cancer are not obvious, so there is no clear “precursors”, but there may be some early manifestations due to the impact on ovarian function. Due to the impact of ovarian hormone secretion, common gynecological symptoms include irregular menstruation, decreased menstrual flow, amenorrhea, abnormal leucorrhea, etc. There may also be abnormal vaginal bleeding after menopause. In addition, due to ovarian lesions, often cause pathological changes in the abdominal cavity, manifested as abdominal distension, pain in the lower back and abdomen, decreased appetite, etc. Symptoms: 1. abdominal pain: persistent pain in the abdomen due to tumor changes such as bleeding, necrosis and rapid growth; 2. irregular vaginal bleeding: the hormone-secreting function of ovarian cancer is affected, resulting in hormonal disorders, causing irregular vaginal bleeding and possibly postmenopausal bleeding; 3. abdominal mass: the tumor tissue in the ovary keeps growing and even protrudes from the surface of the abdomen, thus showing abdominal mass; 4. When tumor presses or invades the gastrointestinal tract, it will cause loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting and even intestinal obstruction; when tumor presses the rectum and bladder, it will cause irritation or compression of the rectum or bladder, such as the urge to defecate but no defecation, difficulty in defecation, etc. 5. Cachexia: When ovarian cancer progresses to advanced stage, it may cause the decline of internal functions of patients, resulting in a large loss of nutrients and cachexia such as emaciation, anemia and weakness. In general, it is recommended that women should have regular medical checkups for early detection and treatment. If a patient has similar symptoms, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time to describe the condition in detail to the doctor and improve the relevant tests to diagnose the condition and then treat it.
