What to do about the pain in the palate

Pain in the palate is most often due to irritation such as inflammation, infection, trauma, ulcers, foreign bodies and burns. If the infection is localized in the palate and fluctuating sensation can be detected, the abscess can be incised and drained first, then intravenous fluids can be given. If the palate pain is examined to be caused by trauma, debridement and suturing can be performed under localization. If the palate pain is related to oral ulcers and burns, the principle of local treatment is to relieve pain and promote healing, and use mouthwash to prevent infection. Commonly in daily life, fish spines and other foreign objects caused by mucosal pain, should go to the relevant hospitals, do minor surgery to remove the foreign body.
