Some patients will experience dizziness, nausea, drowsiness and other symptoms after taking azithromycin, and drinking alcohol will cause similar symptoms, which is not conducive to the observation and identification of adverse drug reactions; 2. Azithromycin is mainly metabolized by the liver, while alcohol also needs to be metabolized by the liver, and taking it at the same time will aggravate the burden of the liver; and both azithromycin and alcohol will stimulate the gastrointestinal tract.
