Shoulder dislocation is called subluxation disease in Chinese medicine, which is basically not different from that in western medicine. The pathology is the same in Chinese medicine and western medicine, which is that the humeral head of the shoulder joint is dislocated out of the glenoid, and there are cases of forward dislocation, and there are cases of backward dislocation. There are also cases of dislocation accompanied by fracture, and different treatment methods need to be selected according to different situations. The treatment for shoulder dislocation is not divided into Chinese medicine and western medicine, all treatments require early reset, the reset of shoulder joint must be operated by professional orthopaedic surgeon, not by yourself, otherwise there is a high risk of fracture or secondary injury. X-rays must be repeated after the shoulder dislocation is reset because some dislocations are accompanied by fractures, and it is necessary to determine whether the fractures are in good position after the reset. If the fracture is not well positioned, a second repositioning or surgical correction may be necessary, as well as determining how long to immobilize the shoulder. This is because if there is no fracture dislocation, immobilization for 2-3 weeks is sufficient. If there is an associated fracture, immobilization for 5-6 weeks is required, which is quite different.
