Can ectinib treat lung cancer?

Ectinib can treat lung cancer, but is only indicated for some metastatic or locally advanced non-small cell lung cancers. Not all lung cancers can be treated with ectinib. This drug is a selective epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitor, and is indicated for locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer with a sensitive mutation in the epidermal growth factor receptor gene, or those who have received at least one chemotherapy regimen (platinum-based combination chemotherapy) in the past and have failed to receive it, and is not recommended for use in wild-type non-small cell lung cancer. This drug is well tolerated overall, with some patients experiencing adverse reactions such as loss of appetite, vomiting and abdominal pain. For the existence of allergy to this drug, the use of the drug is prohibited. Breastfeeding women are advised to suspend breastfeeding while using the drug. Women of childbearing age are advised to avoid pregnancy while using the drug. As a prescription drug, patients need to strictly follow the doctor’s instructions.
