It is not true that varicose veins of lower limbs cannot be cured by stretching. Varicose veins of lower limbs are mostly caused by aging, obesity, long standing and other factors, which lead to venous valves insufficiency, causing venous blood to stagnate in the blood vessels, and with the change of condition, it causes the veins to be tortuous and dilated, which leads to a series of undesirable symptoms. Stretching is a way of stretching the muscles, which can relieve the muscle spasm and also promote the blood return in the muscles, which can relieve the symptoms of varicose veins of the lower limbs to a certain extent, but it can’t be a cure for the already existing varicose veins. Varicose veins of the lower limbs can be treated by compression therapy with compression stockings, or endovenous laser cauterization, translucent vein rotary osteotomy, endovenous radiofrequency ablation and other surgical procedures, which can improve the clinical symptoms of the corresponding distension and pain and improve the quality of life. In daily life, one should avoid sitting and standing for a long time, keep the skin clean and dry, and do proper exercise to promote blood return to the muscles; if symptoms of varicose veins appear, one should go to the hospital for consultation in time.
