Exercise plate test, also known as exercise load test, is mainly used to assist in the diagnosis of myocardial ischemia and coronary artery disease, and is important for determining the severity of coronary artery disease, myocardial ischemia, etc. and for further treatment. The plate exercise test is an important test in which the patient is allowed to keep exercising on a plate, and the changes in the electrocardiogram over a period of time are observed to determine whether there is any manifestation of myocardial ischemia. If the exercise plate test reveals that the myocardium is ischemic and hypoxic during exercise, then coronary angiography or coronary CTA (angiography) is needed to further define the degree of stenosis of the coronary artery lumen and to guide the next step of treatment. For patients with mild symptoms and mild stenosis, conservative treatment with medications such as atorvastatin calcium tablets for lipid regulation and aspirin for anti-platelet aggregation may be indicated; for patients with severe symptoms and severe stenosis, stent implantation or coronary artery bypass grafting may be considered. The use of drugs must follow the doctor’s instructions, not blindly use their own drugs, so as not to cause adverse consequences.
