How to cure acne

Acne, also known as clinical acne, is a kind of chronic inflammatory skin disease of follicular sebaceous gland unit, which can be reasonably treated by general treatment, topical medication, systemic medication and physical therapy according to the patient’s symptoms. 1. General treatment: water or mild cleansing products can be used to remove excess oil, flakes and bacterial mixtures on the skin surface, but it is not possible to over-wash. Limit the intake of high glycemic index foods and skimmed milk, which may trigger or aggravate acne. 2. Topical medication: Suitable for mild cases. (1) Retinoids: including first-generation isotretinoin and third-generation retinoic acid cream, etc. During initial use, some patients may experience local irritation, such as erythema, flaking, etc., and need to be used in small areas with low concentrations. (2) Benzoyl peroxide: after topical application, it can slowly release new ecological oxygen and benzoic acid, which can kill Propionibacterium acnes and dissolve acne. 3. Systemic medication: For generalized lesions and severe symptoms, systemic medication can be used for systemic treatment. (1) Isotretinoin: It can inhibit the secretion of sebum from sebaceous glands, regulate the keratinization of sebaceous gland ducts in hair follicles, and improve the anaerobic environment of hair follicles, which is suitable for nodular cystic acne, and acne accompanied by excessive sebum overflow. (2) Antibiotics: For patients with secondary infections, tetracyclines such as doxycycline and minocycline are preferred for treatment. (3) Hormonal drugs: anti-androgen drugs such as estrogen and progesterone compound preparation, glucocorticoid drugs such as prednisone, etc. The use of these drugs should be standardized under the guidance of a professional physician and should not be abused by oneself. 4. Physical therapy: Commonly used physical therapy includes red and blue light irradiation, intense pulsed light and photodynamic therapy, which can be used to improve sebaceous gland secretion and reduce inflammation. It is recommended that acne patients go to regular hospitals in time, under the guidance of professional doctors to standardize the treatment according to the condition.
